Attorney Clark always suggests resolving disputes when the parties feel the timing is right. The benefits of mediation permits the Plaintiff and Defendant, through legal counsel or unrepresented parties, to mitigate emotional strife, quicken the legal process, minimize legal fees and litigation cost. Comfortable and Neutral Meeting Rooms
Clark and Assoc, LLP has comfortable offices permitting parties to meet in a large conference room initially, and then meet separately within different conference rooms in our offices. This gives the parties the ability to meet with their attorneys and the mediator without the opposing party present. Attorney Clark can also meet at the law firm of either party by prior agreement.
All parties are required to execute a Confidentiality Agreement prior to mediation, unless by agreement of all parties.
Drafting Final Settlement Agreements
Attorney Clark will assist the parties in drafting Final Settlement Agreements. However, before either party executes the same, Attorney Clark strongly suggests independent attorney review.
The parties are required to equally divide the $840 mandatory minimum retainer, unless by agreement otherwise. A Fee Agreement shall also be provided. This covers the minimum fee of three-hours of Attorney Clark's time. Additional time shall be billed at $280.00 per hour. Copying, travel expense and related incidentals are not included within the hourly rate.
