A. First, think about why they're offering you a settlement. Do you really believe they want to pay you what you deserve? Odds are it's an effort to limit their exposure. They realize your case could continue for an extended period. If they get you to take something quickly, it will prevent you from collecting more later. Before your paid you will be required to sign a RELEASE, preventing you from collecting additional payments for just about everything.
